The mixing section provides complete routing flexibility. 8 tracks, 6 analog inputs, and 2 stereo effects can be mixed together for an 18-input mixdown. These effects can serve as stereo effects, dynamics, or even as a guitar multi-effects processor. An approved Tascam SCSI CD-R or CD-RW drive can be used for data backup and creating audio CDs directly from the 788. Multiple 788s can be locked together with MIDI time code.
