With 8 sets of MIDI inputs and outputs, the UM-880 lets you simultaneously control up to 128 channels. It's easy to connect to your computer -- simply connect a USB cable and you're done! Plus, the UM-880 is hot-swappable, so you can plug and unplug it even while your computer is on. You can also use up to 4 units simultaneously for up to 512 channels of MIDI.

The UM-880 can act as a standalone MIDI patcher with 8 memory locations where you can store patch settings. Plus, MIDI can be routed directly through the panel buttons. The hardware MIDI patcher makes use of HDMR* technology to ensure low-latency.
