This 20-hole chromatic was designed and constructed to specifications provided by harmonica legend Toots Thielemans. Toots recommends the Hard Bopper's thicker reedplate for blues or rock. The Hard Bopper's reed design combines speed for the articulate, fast runs demanded by jazz with the fat tonalities suited to heavy blues and R&B. Features a pearwood comb and chromeplating on both covers and mouthpiece.
