A proven, straightforward system for developing harmony. Improves skills in functional harmony analysis. Studies include Root Position Chords, Inverted Chords, the V7 Embellishing 6 Chords, the V7 Diatonic 7ths, and Cadence Patterns. Questions are drawn from a pool of over 200 chord sets. Each area includes practice in analyzing chords, harmonic dictation, and aural identification. The program sounds a chord harmonically and the user must detect its quality, position, and voicing. The correct answer is displayed at the end of the example. MIDI is optional. Windows version requires either a sound card or MIDI. Single user.
