The V-drums TD-8 Percussion Sound Module is a 64-voice COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling)-based instrument that packs over 1,200 high-quality drum/instrument sounds and over 700 dynamic preset patterns into a user-friendly, highly flexible unit. Up to 12 pads can be connected simultaneously, while an onboard sequencer facilitates playing or practicing with preset patterns and songs. For ultimate live playing flexibility, up to 100 different drum patterns and 50 original songs can be stored and easily accessed. The TD-8's V-EDIT function allows drum sounds to be completely shaped and tuned via Roland's COSM modeling technology -- all in a manner that mirrors the selection and tuning of acoustic drums.
